CARS - Closure of Patent Foramen Ovale (opening between two chambers of the heart) in subjects with previous history of stroke.

CURRENT - Trial to evaluate the difference between the medication Plavix (drug that thins platelets for clotting) 300 vs. 600 during or before an Acute Myocardial Infarction (MI).

CHOICE - Use of specific stent during a carotid stent procedure (opening veins in the neck).

VIVID - A device used for patients with severe mitral regurgitation instead of open heart surgery.

CVRx/Rheos - Study for patients who have uncontrolled hypertension (high blood pressure). The use of a device that will help control high blood pressure.

PROTECT II/IMPELLA - A trial with use of the IMPELLA device vs. intra aortic balloon pump. These pumps are used during cardiac catheterizations for stable patients.

RECOVER - A trial with use of the IMPELLA device vs. intra aortic balloon pump. These pumps are used during cardiac catheterizations for unstable patients.

TRACER - Use of new antiplatelet (anti-blood clotting) medication given to patients with heart disease.
