Venkat Pasnoori

Venkat R. Pasnoori, M.D., MPH, FACC, FSCAI,
joined MidAmerica Heart, Vascular, and Vein Specialists, P.A. in 2005, after completing his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Boston University Medical Center. His areas of expertise include coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, non-surgical treatment of varicose veins with ablation therapy, and minimally invasive closure of holes in the heart, know as patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defects.

Dr. Pasnoori was nominated the Chief Cardiology Fellow during his training and was inducted into the National Honor Society for Public Health. He has a special interest in Women's Cardiovascular Health. He is actively involved in research studies involving interventional therapies and acute coronary syndromes. Dr. Pasnoori serves as our Medical Director of Nuclear Cardiology and has expertise in CT angiography.
